Perseus indexes your code so coding agents can ground their answers in it. That means we hold something you care about, so we treat it carefully. This page describes how.
Data protection
Your code and metadata are encrypted in transit and at rest. Connections to the API use TLS, and stored indexes are encrypted on disk.
Isolation
Each customer's index is logically separated. A query only ever reads your own indexed code. There is no path for one customer's queries to reach another customer's repositories.
We do not train on your code
We do not use your code or your queries to train models. Your code is processed for one purpose: to answer your own retrieval requests.
Access controls
Internal access follows least privilege: people get access only to what their work requires. Access to systems that hold customer data is logged and auditable.
Infrastructure
We run on reputable cloud providers and rely on their physical and network security controls underneath our own.
Responsible disclosure
If you find a security issue, please report it to security@perseus.computer. We will acknowledge your report and work with you to understand and fix the issue. Please give us reasonable time to respond before disclosing publicly.
Formal certifications are being pursued as the product matures. We will share progress here when there is something concrete to report.
